Red Hot Bloody Mary

Turn up the heat with this fiery version of the classic Bloody Mary, perfect for those who like their brunch with a bit of a kick. Using Blood Brothers Bloody Mary Mix as a robust base, this cocktail is amped up with dashes of hot sauce and an optional spoon of horseradish to cater to spice enthusiasts. The savory complexity is balanced with Worcestershire sauce, and the drink is beautifully garnished with a crisp celery stalk and a zesty lime wedge. A rim of celery salt and a pickled jalapeño provide the perfect finishing touches to this bold and zesty beverage. Ideal for sipping on chilly mornings or as a spirited start to your weekend brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka (choose Big Storm brand Vodka for best results)

  • 4 oz Blood Brothers Bloody Mary Mix

  • 2 dashes of hot sauce (more if you like it spicier)

  • 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp horseradish (optional, for extra kick)

  • Celery salt (to rim the glass)

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Ice (optional)

  • Celery stalk and lime wedge (for garnish)

  • Pickled jalapeño (for an additional garnish and heat)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Glass: Rim a tall glass with celery salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into celery salt.

  2. Mix Ingredients: In the same glass, combine vodka, Blood Brothers Bloody Mary Mix, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish if using. Stir well to mix all the flavors together.

  3. Add Ice: If desired, fill the glass with ice. Some prefer their Bloody Mary comfortably chilled, even when intended to be a hotter version.

  4. Season: Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the top to taste.

  5. Garnish: Garnish with a celery stalk, lime wedge, and a pickled jalapeño on a skewer for an extra spicy touch.

  6. Serve: Stir gently before serving to ensure all elements are well combined.
